Fits Ford Models: 2000 (1965 YEAR> 3 CYLINDER TRACTORS) 3000 3600 3610 4000 (1965 YEAR> 3 CYLINDER W/SWEPT BACK AXLE) Not recommended for applications with front end loaders. Center the steering wheel with the front wheels pointing straight. Remove both right and left steering arms from the top of the spindles. Remove both drag links from pitman arms on the steering gearbox. The items removed in step 2 & 3 will not be reused. Install the reservoir (1) in a suitable location on top of the engine. Use cylinder head bolt to attach. (2) Install cylinder bracket (3) to left side of transmission housing. (Note right & left are determined while sitting in the operators seat). Install double steering arm (4) on left spindle. Install single steering arm (5) on right spindle. Install three-piece tie rod (8) and adjust toe in. Install steering cylinder assembly (6) with operating valve toward the front of the tractor. Install drag link (9) to cylinder operating valve, and pitman arm of steering gearbox. Install hose (10) 16 long with no fittings, from the reservoir to the pump. Install hose (11) 27 long with two fittings, from the pump to cylinder. Install hose (12) 34 long with one fitting, from the cylinder to the reservoir. Fill reservoir with power steering fluid. Start engine and turn steering wheel back and forth several times to purge the system of air. Recheck fluid level, and add if necessary. Adjust pressure valve on cylinder if required.
