Included is a power rack, pump and hardware to make everything fit. All-new using premium internals/seals, this is NOT a remanufactured assembly. 15-1/2-inch center-to-center mounting works with aftermarket crossmembers. Can be retrofitted to 16-inch center-to-center Mustang II crossmembers using offset rack bushings. Includes inner tie rods with SAE 9/16-18 threads installed with jam nuts. Includes steering rack mounting bushings for easy installation. 9/16-18 and 5/8-18 threads O-ring pressure and return ports. Adapters to convert OE ports for use with AN -6 fittings and hose included. 15:1 performance steering ratio with 2-1/2-turns lock-to-lock. Pinion shaft uses industry standard ¾-inch-36 spline U-joints.

Our T-Bird rack is not a remanufactured unit. It is built from an all-new casting and fitted with all new internals. That includes the rack gear, pinion shaft, internal seals, inner tie rods, and fluid lines.
New mounting bushings are included and if your mounting hardware has seen better days we do offer a new. Some installations may require to properly space the rack away from the crossmember for clearance. We offer these spacers along with the required for everything to mount up properly. We provide AN -6 hose adapters for the rack's inlet and outlet ports due to the Thunderbird rack-and-pinion fittings differing from the original Mustang II rack-and-pinion fittings.Pumps are 1200 PSI rated to work with most gearbox systems, 850 PSI valve available for Mustang II rack and pinion available upon request. Our Type II compact size pump is ideal for tight installations. For use with factory or remote reservoir tank depending upon part number. Perfect for street rods and custom vehicles with limited engine space. Pumps are available in chrome plated, various colors and plain, as cast finishes.
