Complete Kit Intake Carburetor Conversion Kit Weber 32/36 DGEV fits Nissan 2.4
For Sale: Weber 32/36 DGEV, Duel Downdraft / Custom welded machined Intake to fit / Custom machined billet spacer for Weber Carb / OEM Nissan Modified air housing to fit Weber 32/36 / misc instructions and different size jets. After 1 year, weber conversion plate was creating vacuuming leaks (go to forums, notorious leakers), no filter for engine breather hose and it creates mess, lose the hot air diverter for engine cold starting from around the exhaust system, the various vacuum hoses that are discarded due have a function and purpose. Lets not forget the funky throttle connection. Plus, air filter is dramatically being reduced in size with crank case breather hose complicating issue all leading to engine running rich.
This is 1 reason on the forums everyone mentions low fuel economy... Its running rich because engine can't get proper air to fuel mixture. Go onto Nissan forum and experience all the problems discussed. Removed everything after 1 year and had this work done. 1 intake welded and machined to fit the Weber 32/36.
2 proper base plate machined to fit. 3 proper throttle cable connection fabricated.4 OEM Nissan air filter modified to fit the Weber and still allow the engine hood to close. This allows for proper size air filter and engine crank vent discharge. Ran this set up for 5 years without problems.
My truck had a lot of miles and its set up for that. The carb is tight and everything in very good shape. Your air cover (lid) will fit this air housing base.... Nissan made them all the same. My truck was an 1985, series 720 with 2.4 engine. This makes a conversion so much easier and resolves so many problems that can be created alternative method. Price is based well below the fabrication costs & Carb..... This is a great deal for someone who doesn't want to go through the problems of doing this conversion the inferior method.
