Of course, if you sometimes switch the power off - for instance, going downhill - the range will be greater. How do I use it? Revos is activated by a Pedal Assist Sensor (PAS) - to give you immediate power as soon as you move the pedals. Tart pedalling and Revos will assist you up to 15.5mph (25kph). Revos favours the classic bicycle frames, but it often works with more unusual bikes, too. To make sure Revos will fit, check the following. Can a 5cm x 5cm (2in x 2in) square be placed in the space between the rear wheel and the seat tube without touching the rear wheel or the seat stay? Is the seat tube diameter 3.5cm or less? Is the tyre width 5.0cm (2 in) or less? Is there space for the battery on the frame? The battery carrier is 330mm long overall and 85mm wide at its widest part at the base; the battery itself is 60mm in diameter and 270mm long. The battery is usually mounted in the bottle holder space using the threaded holes in the frame, but can be fixed elsewhere using cable ties. If you answered yes to all of the above - Revos should fit your bike well! Can I use it in the rain? We have developed "Revogrip" - a composite silicon carbide compound coating - so that Revos drives the bicycle wheel around, without slipping, even when the tyre is wet from heavy rain or from riding through puddles. Revos and the battery are water resistant and will not be affected from riding through heavy rain. Will it wear out my tyres more quickly?

The Revos' roller is an additional surface in contact with the tyre - however, it doesn't rub against it, but gently rolls with it. That means that while slight tyre wear is bound to happen over time, it's no more than that caused by the tyre being in contact with the surfaces you ride on.
