Generally, some models of Mercedes Benz, BMW, Volkswagen, Hyundai and Kia, the headlight bulb is H7 and come with the retainer holder. What's more, there are various different original retainer holders. Usually those adapters are universal type, which applicable for after-market LED bulbs or HID bulbs. But, these universal type adapters do not fit LED bulb perfectly, so it is hard to install LED bulb and the adapter on headlight housing, or the LED bulb does not lock firmly on housing socket. Why was custom H7 born? Actually, we also carry kinds of different universal type adapters. Due to more and more customers feedback that the universal adapters do not fit LED bulb well, or it is very loose after installing LED bulbs on headlight housing. So, we're decided to re-design the custom LED bulb. The retainer adapter and LED bulb are all-in-one design, no need extra adapter. As shown in pictures, this custom H7 LED bulb comes with a special adapter, which integrated the H7 mounting plate and the retainer holder. You probably just need a relay or capacitor. Unlike halogen bulbs, LED are polarity sensitive. BEFORE you start your LED kit installation, verify the polarity on your vehicle by simply plugging the LED bulb into your vehicle socket. If your light turns on, please proceed to install both bulbs onto your vehicle. If your light DOES NOT turn on, disconnect the bulb and flip the socket in order to reverse the polarity (this will not damage your vehicle electrical system in any way). Once you made sure the LED bulb turns on, please proceed to install both bulbs onto your vehicle. Note: There is no convention when it comes to polarity. Different car manufactures have different polarity setup, even within the car model the polarity setup on your low beams and high beams might be different.
